Now is probably a good time to tell you that for 20 years I haven’t had a TV. Last night I was working away and I was staying in a hotel. I caught the news. I must confess I had a little bit of sick in my mouth, it was Sir Keef with his tongue so far up The Donald’s arse that he was practically brushing his teeth with his tongue. I’ve never had much respect for the toolmakers son but FFS, that was a national embarrassment. Now I get we are supposed to have a special relationship with the US, but we don’t and we never have. If you don’t believe me look at War Plan Red. The fact is, as Chamberlain learned, you can’t negotiate with Fascists, they see it as a weakness. Starmer was begging for scraps at the masters table and quite frankly it was awful to watch.
At least Chamberlain came back with a piece of paper. No amount of mouthwash will clear up the taste of Starmer's self-induced human centipede. How can you negotiate with someone who denies what he said two days before and even Chamberlain learned you can't negotiate with the Fash. Oh and that invite from the King was vomit inducing and I sincerely hope the Government bows to publlic pressure and rescinds it.
Contrast it tonight with the train-crash of an Oval Office press conference with Zelenskyy. It was hard to watch. Trump and Vance pushing Russian propaganda at someone who knows exactly what the Russians do when no one stops them. If anything showed what a pair of POS bullies Trump and Vance are, it was tonight. If I was Ukrainian, given what they have been through in the last three years, I would have been proud of Zalenskyy. The stakes were high for Ukraine, with Zelenskyy aiming to ensure continued U.S. support in the face of Russia’s ongoing invasion, but it became apparent very early in the conversation that this was not going to go in Ukraine’s favour.
Trump’s historical downplaying of Russian aggression and his rhetoric that often echoed Kremlin talking points. It was almost as if Putin had written the brief for him. Zelenskyy walked into the room with the dual challenge of securing military aid, economic support, and diplomatic backing, while simultaneously navigating the difficult terrain of Trump’s praise for Putin and his reluctance to unequivocally condemn Russian actions. The conversation should have revolved around the need for sustained U.S. commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and defence. Zelenskyy pushed for a strong reaffirmation of U.S. military and financial aid, knowing how vital this assistance has been in Ukraine’s resistance against the Russian invasion.
The Ukrainian president stressed the continued importance of holding Russia accountable for war crimes and atrocities. Of course this is not how it panned out. In a public spat Trump and Vance ganged up on Zelenskyy showing the world what a pair of cunts they are. Trump was clearly put out of joint because Zelenskyy wouldn’t roll over and have his tummy tickled in return for lots of back handers to Trump and the gang in the form of Ukrainian minerals ad infinitum. I am impressed at the statesman like level of Zelenskyy that he held his cool as long as he did.
Tonight’s meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy was marked by tension and outright hostility, as Trump and his ally J.D. Vance took a combative stance toward the Ukrainian president. It was embarrassing to watch as they bullied the Ukrainian President and in a level of unparalleled projection, claimed he had no respect. From the outset, Zelenskyy faced an uphill battle, with Trump offering vague and dismissive responses to Ukraine’s urgent requests for continued U.S. military and economic support. Rather than providing clear commitments, Trump repeatedly pushed his narrative of brokering a so-called "peace deal" with Russia—one that seemed designed to pressure Ukraine into making dangerous concessions to Putin. Vance, echoing Trump’s stance, took an even more aggressive tone, openly questioning Ukraine’s need for further U.S. aid and implying that Kyiv should be prepared to compromise with Moscow. The meeting at times resembled an interrogation rather than a diplomatic discussion, with Zelenskyy forced to defend Ukraine’s resistance against Russian aggression while Trump and Vance pushed a narrative that cast doubt on the necessity of American support. For Ukraine, the meeting was a stark warning: Trump and his allies are not only reluctant to back Ukraine but are actively laying the groundwork to cut aid and push for a settlement favourable to Putin.
Zelenskyy left without concrete assurances, but with a clearer, and deeply troubling picture of the challenges Ukraine now faces. So let’s go back to that beige flip-flopping spineless fucker in Number 10. Even he must now see that Trump is not a friend of Europe and is happy to throw it under a bus.
What became clear tonight was that if Europe doesn’t unite and rearm, we are on the inevitable path to war with Russia, and after tonight, we can’t be entirely sure who’s side the Americans will be on. Fuck Trump and fuck the horse you rode in on you tiny fingered Tango fash.
